June is PRIDE month. In celebration of LGBTQ+ artists and the incredible contributions the community has made on both a global scale and specifically within the audio industry, we spoke with guitarist, gay rights activist, author, and icon: Kristen Ellis-Henderson.

Kristen Ellis-Henderson’s powerhouse rock band Antigone Rising has toured across the globe, opening for legends such as the Rolling Stones. Ellis-Henderson pioneered an initiative of female empowerment that began with an international state department to the middle east and evolved into the inspirational non-profit organization and music festival, Girls Rising.
