Regina N. Bradley, Ph.D, is a professor at Kennesaw State University where she teaches English and African diaspora studies, and host of the podcast Bottom of the Map. She is also the author of the forthcoming book Chronicling Stankonia: the Rise of the Hip Hop South, that brings women's perspectives to the conversations around hip hop and centers southern hip hop as a framework for looking at the south after the Civil Rights Movement.
