Tamar-kali is a second-generation musician, born and raised in Brooklyn with roots in the coastal Sea Islands of South Carolina. Her unique sound draws upon her Catholic upbringing and post-punk influence, landing her on stages all around the world. From a Sundance-featured film scores to her solo EP debut, she’s not slowing down any time soon.
