Tiffany Ashitey is the Executive Producer of Podcasts at ESSENCE, where she launched and founded the Essence Podcast Network. The network is created, operated, scaled, and developed, and produced all by Black women. With over 5 million downloads and recognition from Apple Podcasts and the Webby Awards, the Essence Podcast Network is taking the podcast industry by storm. Tiffany manages production, distribution, promotion, and scale of 5 shows, with several more in development.
We sat down to talk to Tiffany about launching the network, advice for other Black females in the industry, and how she Passes the Mic.
