“Be bold and fearless” Jill Schnitt from Omnicom Media

Meet Jill Schnitt, President of Outdoor Media Group at Omnicom Media, where she leads the industry’s largest out-of-home organization. She oversees a team of more than 170 people and over $1B in media investment, helping shape OOH strategy for some of the world’s leading brands. Throughout her career, Jill has been at the forefront of innovation in out-of-home media, helping build one of the industry's first digital out-of-home practices, advancing programmatic capabilities, and championing data-driven approaches that drive measurable results.

Jill sat down with Jocelyn Hudak, Senior Director, Content and Digital Marketing and Morgan James, Content Marketing Specialist at SiriusXM Media for Pass the Mic. Challenge yourself.

Highlight: “Listening a lot is something I really believe is important as a leader, especially going through the transformation that our company is going through right now. There are a lot of feelings, there are a lot of opinions, but there is a lot of great talent out there. So I want to hear from them… Continuing to be a student is important, too.” - Jill Schnitt

Learn to trust and delegate. 

Highlight: “I think as leaders, it's that balance of trusting and delegating so that somebody can pave their own way and learn even from mistakes or from their wins… But what's that right balance? For every leader, it's a really important skill to learn.” - Jill Schnitt

Fake it till you become it.

Highlight: “We all need to talk to ourselves or have that circle of people who can pump us up when we really need it. Always remember, when you're in a situation, that you deserve to be there; you've earned your spot. And when you’re feeling that doubt, just to continue to fake it till you become it.” - Jill Schnitt

Throughout her career, Jill has embraced change, challenged herself to grow, and leaned into opportunities that felt uncomfortable. Whether she’s leading one of the largest out-of-home organizations in the world, mentoring future leaders, or learning a new skill outside of work, her advice remains the same: Keep learning, trust yourself, and don’t be afraid to take the leap.
