Talking Taboo & Pleasure Data with Liz Klinger, CEO of Lioness
May 4, 2020Welcome to our Power of Audio Podcast. This episode is part of our Pandora Presents Pass the Mic series—an initiative that amplifies women’s voices in the audio industry and explores how audio has played a role in their success.
Liz Klinger is the Co-founder and CEO of Lioness (www.lioness.io). She is also one of the inventors of the Lioness Vibrator, the first and only smart vibrator that helps users see and improve orgasms through biofeedback, precision sensors, and AI-guidance. It is one of the first significant pushes in understanding women’s sexual pleasure since the 1980s.
Fast forward 40 years later: there is still little to no research on the topic, female sexual wellness products are essentially being removed from conference floors, and companies are fighting for the ability to publicly educate consumers.
Tune into this episode for Liz’s thoughts on the industry, how audio plays a role in women’s sexual health, and how together, we can ‘move this boulder forward.’
During the COVID-19 outbreak, Klinger also co-founded Mask-Match (www.mask-match.com), a volunteer-run project that has matched close to 400,000 (and counting) domestic mask donations from individuals to front line healthcare workers who desperately need them. Mask-Match was ABC New’s Person of the Week and has also been featured in The New York Times, Fox News, and SF Gate.
